Each of the 8 pre-amps features a 24-step gain control knob with gold contacts and precision metal-film resistors, and a gain range of 18-64dB in 2dB increments. A relay-controlled 20dB constant-impedance attenuator, polarity-reversal switch, and 48V phantom power switch are also featured on each channel. The separate 1U half-rack power supply minimizes interaction with the pre-amp circuits and has a 10' cable. With 8 world-class mic pre-amps in one 2U chassis, it's the perfect front end for any workstation or tape machine.
